NFL Week 15: Redskins @ Cowboys
The NFC East division has come down to just two teams as the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles are set to do battle this weekend at the new billion-dollar New Meadowlands Stadium. The division title will basically be on the line this weekend for those two teams, but they won’t be the only two NFC East division teams going head-to-head this weekend as the Washington Redskins will travel to Arlington, Texas to take on resurgent Dallas Cowboys.

Even though this game between the Redskins and the Cowboys will be basically meaningless as both teams have been knocked out of playoff contention, this should be a hard-fought battle regardless as there’s no love lost between these two teams and the Cow
boys will look to be getting a bit of revenge for their Week one loss against Mike Shanahan’s squad.
Some interesting news coming out of the nation’s capital recently though, as it seems the two-time Super Bowl champion head coach has decided to go with backup quarterback Rex Grossman instead of six-time Pro Bowler Donovan McNabb. This comes as quite a surprise to most of us as Grossman has been a notorious underachiever in his time in the NFL and McNabb was one of the main reasons Washington Redskins came out on top in Week one.
Like I said before though, these two teams will basically just be playing for pride as there’s nothing on the line coming into this game, but no team in the NFL likes to lose to a division rival, especially twice in one season.
With this news of the Washington Redskins starting Rex Grossman over Donovan McNabb, I believe the Dallas Cowboys will absolutely dominate their division rivals this Sunday as there’s no way this backup quarterback will to lead his team to victory over a defense like the Cowboys.

If that’s not bad enough, the Dallas Cowboys offense has been playing almost as good as any other team in the league. With
out perennial Pro bowl quarterback Tony Romo under center, it was thought that this Cowboys offense would fall flat on their face, but the complete opposite has happened as veteran QB Jon Kitna has played arguably his best football of his NFL career and new head coach Jason Garrett has turned out to be just what the doctor ordered.
As of right now, the Dallas Cowboys are favored to come out with the victory over their division rivals this Sunday as they have a -6 point spread in their favor. Even though this could be a close match up in the first half, I believe the second half will be a different story altogether as the Cowboys will get out to a commanding lead and ultimately blowout the Redskins while covering the spread.
