NFL Week 14: Eagles @ Cowboys
Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys Sun. Dec. 12th 2010 8:20pm EST
The Philadelphia Eagles in the Dallas Cowboys are always to extremely tough teams to beat in the AFC conference, but this season and America’s team has taken a back seat to the red hot Eagles as they are flying high right now with NFL MVP candidate quarterback Michael Vick leading the way.
Even though they are playoff hopes are basically over and done with right now, the Dallas Cowboys are playing as if they have nothing to lose as new head coach Jason Garrett has been just what the doctor ordered for this very talented football team in desperate need of direction.
With that being said, America’s team has become a force to be reckoned with once again in the NFC conference as they continue to play some solid football week in week out with their new head coach call the shots on the sidelines.

Last week the Dallas Cowboys were able to do something that many people thought they were incapable of doing by getting the best of Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts, but they will have their hands full this week as they will try and figure out a way to stop arguably the best player in the NFL right now in superstar quarterback Michael Vick.
Only the Chicago Bears have really been able to figure out how to contain Vick this season, but even when they did he still threw for over 300 yards and racked up three touchdowns. With that being said there still is no solid formula to stop this Pro bowl bound quarterback, but the same could be said for the Cowboys offense right now as they are playing as good as any other team in the league.
As of right now, the Philadelphia Eagles have the advantage coming into this NFC East showdown with a -3.5 point spread. That sounds just about right in my opinion as the Dallas Cowboys probably won’t win this game and Michael Vick will lead his team to yet another victory while covering spread.

The real question heading into this football game will be whether or not the Dallas Cowboys defense can step up and contain is extremely potent offense which not only has Michael Vick running the show under center, but two very talented players in wide receiver DeSean Jackson and running LeSean McCoy.
In my opinion, there is no question that the Dallas Cowboys potent offense will show up in this matchup despite the Philadelphia Eagles defense playing as well as they have lately, but I really can’t see the Dallas Cowboys defense been able to contain this extremely potent offense with Michael Vick leading the way.
