NFL Week 17: Rams @ Seahawks
The AFC West division is notoriously the worst division in the NFL every single year without question, but this season times are changing as the NFC West has officially become the worst division in the league by far. Not only may a team under .500 make it into the playoffs out of the NFC West, but they will also win the division title.
Heading into the final week of the NFL regular season, the Seattle Seahawks and the St. Louis Rams will battle it out in what will be a game that will decide the division title in the NFC West. It would be hard to argue that the Seahawks haven’t had an awful season, but the Rams on the other hand have played pretty well at least compared to their one win season last year.

Before this NFL regular season even began for the St. Louis Rams, they took a pretty big gamble on former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Sam Bradford with the first pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
With multiple injuries to his throwing shoulder in his final year with the Oklahoma Sooners, Sam Bradford looked like a good quarterback, but flawed to say the least as those injuries may be something that plagued his future NFL career.
Despite having multiple shoulder injuries, the Rams took a chance on the seemingly only quarterback in the draft that was NFL ready in terms of starting. Even though they were heavily criticized for taking Bradford, St. Louis pulled the trigger and hit a bull’s-eye as this kid is the real deal and may lead his team into the playoffs with the division title in his first year under center.
That is impressive to say the least for rookie quarterback taking over a one win football team, but he will still need to lead the St. Louis Rams over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17 in order for them to be playoff bound.
Even though the Seattle Seahawks have shown some signs of promise with Pete Carroll calling the shots this season, I believe it will ultimately fall to the St. Louis Rams as Sam Bradford and company are a much more talented football team than people give them credit for.

The St. Louis Rams will almost certainly be beaten in the first round of the playoffs no matter who they play, most likely the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints, but this season has been a success nonetheless and definitely a building block for franchise desperately in need for turnaround.
As of right now, the Rams have been given the edge in this NFC West division showdown with a -1 point spread. It is safe to say that St. Louis will be playoff bound as they should get the win over this lowly Seattle squad.
