NFL Week 13: Games to watch
Pittsburgh at Baltimore
One of the most heated rivalries in the past ten years. Both teams have won the Super Bowl in the last decade. Both are known for their tenacious D, hard hits and physical linebackers. Coincidently, Pittsburgh and Baltimore also share the best record in the AFC North.
Since 1997, the Steelers have beaten the Ravens only once at Baltimore. This could mean nothing since the Steelers have lost only once on the road this season. In the last five games these two teams have played against each other, it has been decided by four points or fewer. It’s not too much to expect that there’s going to be enough big hits to last the season.
Joe Flacco will have to get his running shoes ready because of all the scrambling he’s going to do to get away from the suddenly fine-prone James Harrison. If that wasn’t enough trouble, Flacco will also have to keep an eye out for Troy Polamalu lurking in the secondary.
Linebacker’s Terrell Suggs and Ray Lewis already smell blood with Ben Roethlisberger’s injury. Suggs is peaking at the right time. He has recorded 18 tackles and four sacks in the month of November alone. Pittsburgh o-line is wildly inconsistent and susceptible to top-heavy blitzes.
Prediction: Too close to call. Flacco is healthy and Roethlisberger’s not. That could be the deciding factor.

NY Jets at New England
It’s clear that Tom Brady hates the NY Jets. It’s also undeniable that the Jets are ready to rough him up. Both teams are tied for the league’s best, not to mention tied for the top spot in the AFC East. The Jets though own the tiebreaker with their 28-14 win in Week 2.
New England has won 25 straight home games with Brady as their starter. You can make the argument that New England’s record is more legit than New York’s. The Patriots have beaten the Colts, Steelers, and Ravens. Meanwhile, the Jets had a tough time beating the Browns, Lions and Broncos.
Mark Sanchez has been great during the Jets recent run of four wins. He has thrown seven touchdowns, rushed for two and has thrown four interceptions. Meanwhile, Tom Brady has not thrown an interception in the past six games. His season total is 23 touchdowns and only four interceptions.
The difference will be BenJarvus Green-Ellis.Green-Ellis is efficient at scoring touchdowns within 10 yards of the end zone.
Prediction: New England

Oakland at San Diego
No one is surprised that the Chargers have turned it up in the second half of the season. They’ve reeled off four straight wins including one over the Colts. San Diego has an easy schedule ahead of them.
After winning three straight, the Raiders are struggling and have dropped the last two. They’re slumping at the worst possible time when they have a chance to win the division.
Darren McFadden has been a revelation this season. But he’s been the indication of the Raiders success. When he runs for over 80 yards Oakland wins. In the Raiders two losses he totaled a miserable 16 yards.
Bad news for Oakland because Philip Rivers has found his form. Check the numbers of the past four games: 10 touchdowns and three interceptions.
Prediction: San Diego.
